Last night I went to a truly swish affair, the Rise Royal Randwick the official opening of the new 5 level grandstand. We arrived at the newly finished, Theatre of the Horse, an outdoor arena modeled on something similar at Royal Ascot, at dusk – here we sipped Moet champagne while watching a 10-minute equine-themed performance by composer Anton Koch and creative director Ignatious Jones which commemorated the champions of the turf – Phar Lap, Tulloch, Kingston Town, Gunsynd, Octagonal and Black Caviar.
We then made our way upstairs for the feast, a gastronomic experience.
Now the fun began, dancing on podiums ( not me the young lady with the snake)

Have a great weekend. xo
Now, I know we have been inundated for the last few weeks with runway looks FW and street looks FW. I have always considered the crowd at London and New York to be very edgy and hip with the Italian version, Milan, being a little more subdued and classic.God knows where I got that bloody idea from. I have been trawling the net for the best streetstyle looks that maybe us 40+ can get a bit of inspiration from. I maybe bias well not maybe I am, so I didn’t bother with all the 20 somethings. My advice pick the eyes out of how to wear something because you are not at fashion week and the objective is to be noticed for the right reasons.
I am in love with this girl, statement belts are apparently coming back watch this space…
